Design's job, as I see it, is to reduce anxiety. For the users of a product, and for the teams building it.
12 years across enterprise SaaS, industrial software, and a design studio. Currently Senior Product Designer at Squalify (Munich Re), where I lead the executive dashboards that shifted the company's go-to-market story from selling a cyber-risk model to selling strategic clarity.

The direction I've walked
My career has gone big-to-small. RSA (EMC's security division) and Salesforce in Bangalore. Design Group Italia in Milan. Userlane in Munich. Now Squalify, a corporate startup inside Munich Re.
Each move smaller, more autonomous, closer to the product.
Three cultures, one designer
Indian roots. Italian design training. German work rhythm. Working across European time zones for 10 years and counting.

Off the
clock
I'm probably dancing (pop to Bollywood to techno, start the music and I'm in), hiking short Alpine trails (huffs and puffs guaranteed, nothing above 1000m), swimming, painting, or tinkering with an Arduino project.
Coffee is a regular go-to: South Indian filter with chicory starting in Bangalore, Italian espressos through Milan, and chilling at Munich roasteries for a good cuppa. Chai is the ritual, saved for calmer days or friends coming over :)

Staff Product Designer roles at B2B teams working on complex product ecosystems.
Executive tools, developer platforms, data products, design systems. Somewhere, the design job is making systems legible for the people who use them and the teams building them.
